Firsts

So we went to the SPCA last week and come home with Chopper, our new dog.  He's our first dog, and my first as an adult.  He's super sweet and I am so glad we got him, I just hope I have the patience to teach him how to properly walk on a leash.  Here he is-

Also, my tomatoes finally started to turn red!  This is the first year I have ever tried growing any kind of food.  Thanks to my friend Rini who gave me the little plant, I have now successfully grown a tomato.

So there are some firsts.  Maybe next time I'll be able to say I have successfully taught my dog how to sit, stay, come and walk like a pro!  We'll see  :)
